TPx’s Ken Bisnoff Recognized as CRN® Channel Chief

Channel Chief Honorees are selected by CRN’s editorial staff on the basis of their professional achievements, standing in the industry, dedication to the channel partner community and strategies for driving future growth and innovation.

TPx Communications announces that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Ken Bisnoff, senior vice president of strategic opportunities, to its prestigious list of 2017 Channel Chiefs. The executives on this annual list represent top leaders in the IT channel who excel at driving growth and revenue in their organizations through channel partners.

Each of the 2017 Channel Chiefs has demonstrated loyalty and ongoing support for the IT channel by consistently promoting, defending and executing outstanding channel partner programs.

Bisnoff has held a channel leadership role at TPx, formerly TelePacific, since he was a founding executive in the mid-‘90s and started building its agent channel from the ground up. Under his leadership, the company’s channel business has grown to account for nearly 50 percent of the company’s $600 million business.    

The 2016 acquisition of leading managed services provider DSCI highlighted the company’s already aggressive shift to managed services offerings. As a member of the executive team overseeing channel sales, Bisnoff helped in the selection, due diligence process and channel-based integration efforts as TPx accelerated its evolution from a regional CLEC in California, Nevada and Texas to a national managed services carrier.

Shortly after the acquisition of DSCI, Bisnoff and his team launched UCx, TPx’s award-winning Universal Communications solution, to the channel. They also rolled out a national SD-WAN platform; managed IT offerings (ITx) with Office 365 as a Tier 1 Microsoft Certified Partner; and delivered the education, training and technical resources to help channel partners compete and win new business with these products.
