Manhattan Physical Therapy and Pain Center is pleased to announce the recent hire of a physical therapist and acupuncturist to help expand the practice.

According to Dr. Joseph Simon, the founder of Manhattan Physical Therapy and Pain Center, “Hiring additional staff members will enable us to better meet the needs of our clients. Because of our innovative approach to physical therapy, we have fewer appointment times available than we’d like. With additional staff members, we can help even more clients at the same time.”

Erica Cole, PT, DPT, SFMA, is a full-time physical therapist with almost ten years of experience delivering high-quality physical therapy to clients, especially those with orthopedic and neurological dysfunctions. She believes in a hands-on approach and specializes in the different uses of manual therapy, including Maitland Technique joint mobilizations, RockBlade, and Redcord suspension therapy.

John K. Miller, MAOM, L.Ac, is a licensed acupuncturist with more than ten years of experience providing lasting results to clients through acupuncture. He earned his Master’s of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture, where he studied orthopedic acupuncture and Trigger Point Therapy.

Together, Erica Cole and John K. Miller deliver a lot of value to the clients of Manhattan Physical Therapy and Pain Center because of their experience and backgrounds working with various clients toward meeting their goals. Both new hires have had some great outcomes with clients, such as stabilizing imbalances and avoiding surgical interventions.
