Local entrepreneurs gather at Moses Molelekwa

Tembisa residents and the surrounding areas packed at Moses Molelekwa during the business seminar of Chamber of Entrepreneurship and Biz Expo hosted at Moses Molelekwa Art Centre.

Above two-hundred local entrepreneurs flocked to Moses Molelekwa Art Centre during the business seminar of Chamber of Entrepreneurship and Biz Expo recently.

The event was organised by Lij Events Hub, founded in 2016 by local resident Thabang Mabale.

Members from Standard Bank, Vukamusha Foundations, eKasi Entrepreneurs, Xtreme Servants, 4rex24/5, EWC Centre for Management and motivational speaker and life coach Katlego Boikanyo attended the seminar.

According to Mabale, the event was aimed at educating youth on how to start and sustain a business.

Entrepreneurs had an opportunity to exhibit and sell their products to the attendees.

“We want to connect Tembisa upcoming entrepreneurs and existing ones to interact for business growth and promote economic growth in the area,” said Mabale.

The Chamber of Entrepreneurship and Biz Expo is an empowered corporate event by Lij Events Hub aimed at promoting economic growth and social entrepreneurship in Tembisa.

Mabale said when he founded Lij Events Hub, it was after he carefully studied mistakes made by other entertainment companies whereby some of their past events and promotional campaigns were unsuccessful because of improper planning, control, leading and organising.

His vision was to create a respectable black initiated professional multi-disciplinary event management offer and full equipment hire.
