One of our favorite ways to wrap up summer takes place this Saturday, Aug. 19, with the arrival of our Third Annual Library to Library Fun Walk. 

This fun walk connects the Manitowoc Public Library and Lester Public Library in Two Rivers with a lovely stroll via Mariner’s Trail along the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline.

This morning walk from library to library is held annually in the middle of August and provides an excellent opportunity to enjoy a summer morning while supporting two of the wonderful libraries in our area.

The walk gets underway at Manitowoc Public Library, 707 Quay St., Manitowoc, at 9:30 a.m. From there, participants will walk for 6 miles along the picturesque Mariner’s Trail, ultimately arriving at Lester Public Library in Two Rivers.

The span of the walk will fly by as you take in the sunshine, socialize some and enjoy the great views as you saunter along the lakeshore.
